Dakota Richardson

Dakota was born in Connecticut, educated at NYU in New York City and has since traveled across much of North America in search of the next adventure.

He has guided trips in Yellowstone National Park, on the Snake River in Wyoming, the Upper Delaware System in New York, and the saltwater coast in New England and Florida.

For the past decade, Dakota has called the Snake River his home waters, guiding all stretches within the Jackson Hole valley. Dakota currently lives in Alpine, WY and spends much of his time fishing the Salt, Green, and New Fork Rivers.

His photography has appeared in Catch Magazine, The Fly Fish Journal, Midcurrent, On the Water Magazine, Eastern Fly Fishing, The Fisherman Magazine, and West 10th Magazine.

He has contributed stories and literary pieces to The Drake, The Fisherman, On The Water, and Eastern Fly Fishing.

When not guiding trips or tying flies, Dakota can be found skiing, snowmobiling, camping, rafting, hunting and planning the next adventure.
