Cody Barber is an enthusiastic, friendly, patient, and passionate guide. He grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and was lucky enough to have parents and grand parents that brought him out to Jackson Hole in the summers. These trips led to Cody attending Teton Valley Ranch Camp, where he spent countless days in the Tetons and surrounding ranges. Cody, spent a total of 10 summers with TVRC as a camper and then a staff member which established deep roots in the valley for him. Cody’s knowledge of fishing, safe backcountry practices, and outdoor leadership were forged in these years. Fishing has always been a passion for Cody, however the passion has evolved to include teaching fishing. Nothing gets Cody more excited than watching a client develop as an angler and apply new skills on the water. When he is not on the water or tying flies for the next trip, Cody can found spending time with his family and friends, his two dogs, and practicing his guitar. Be sure to ask him about lake fishing opportunities in Yellowstone National Park on his 20’ bay boat!
