Flows are at 550cfs and water temperatures are cold, but there fish are being caught on a variety of nymphs and streamers. Snake River Runoff is really pumping now on the Snake. Snowpack is under 60% as of this past weekend, so it will probably end sometime in June unless some cooler and wetter weather moves in, which would not be a bad thing. Snake River The Snake went into runoff earlier this week. Visibility is less than a foot but on those days when there is overnight freezing above 10,000 feet, clarity can reach the two foot levels– not great by any means but enough to give fly fishers OK action on streamers and nymphs.
