Snake River Angler Fly Fishing Report for June 15th, 2015

Snake River Flows from Jackson Lake Dam have dropped from 4,500cfs to 3,500 cfs over the past week, greatly improving the dry fly fishing on the tailwater reach down to Pacific Creek. Callibaetis and gray drakes are the primary bugs on the water, with Chironomids and some caddis making appearances throughout most days. Snake River Still running at 4,500 cfs from Jackson Lake Dam. This is a great level for the tailwater reach from a fly fishing standpoint and it has just started to come into shape this past week. Snake River The tailwater reach from Jackson Lake Dam down to Pacific Creek remains the only reach to not be in runoff conditions. Releases from the dam have been steady at 4000 cfs for a few days and the fishing has improved greatly and are at the right level for good fishing. Clarity is excellent.
