Despite warm water temperatures, the Snake and South Fork remain solid options as long as one has an early start and finishes up around noon. Flat Creek in the National Elk Refuge, as well as Cottonwood Creek and Blacktail Springs in Grand Teton National Park opened on August 1st, giving fly fishers one of the better wade fishing opportunities in the Rocky Mountain West.
