Raised in CT and VT, Dave grew up fly fishing both salt water species and brook trout in upland creeks. Spending time each summer in Teton Valley, Idaho as a child helped pull him back to this area after fishing his university years in the desert rivers of Eastern Oregon. Dave has guided well over 20 years in the Wydaho region, as well as two seasons in Chilean Patagonia. A local educator when not guiding, DW tries to put fun at the forefront of every trip.
